U.S. based Innovative Healing Systems opens its first Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Clinic in Dubai.
Dubai, UAE, 17 November 2013: Innovative Healing Systems (IHS), a highly specialised Hyperbaric and Wound Care clinic, officially opened today at a ribbon cutting ceremony at Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) attended by Marwan Abedin, CEO of DHCC, Dr Ekta Anandani, IHS Centre physician and Ms Brooke Cobbs, Hyperbaric and Wound Care Program Director at Florida Hospital.
The clinic offers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, an innovative treatment involving the administration of 100% oxygen to the patient whilst in a pressurized environment, help in treating injuries such as incurable diabetic foot wounds, sudden hearing loss, bone infections and the effects of post-cancer radiation. Additionally, with the prevalence of Diabetes in UAE and the growing number of diabetic patients, this therapy may help to reduce the number of diabetic foot amputations and provide a valuable alternative to the patients who currently do not have any other solutions.
